Common questions
What platforms does PayrollKit run on?+
PayrollKit is a native mobile app built with React Native, available on both iOS and Android.
Is my organization's data isolated from other companies?+
Yes. Every table is protected with PostgreSQL row-level security, scoped to your organization_id, so your data never mixes with anyone else's.
How do I sign in and add my team?+
Sign in with your Google account — no passwords to manage. From there, create a new organization or join an existing one with an invite code. Admins generate invite codes with an expiry to bring on new teammates securely.
Can I control what each team member can access?+
Yes. When inviting someone, admins choose exactly which modules they can open — Attendance but not Payroll, for example. Each person's navigation only shows the modules they've been granted.
How does payroll calculate net pay?+
Net pay is pro-rated from monthly salary based on present and half-present days for the month, then any unrecovered advances are deducted automatically.
Can I track more than payroll, like expenses and stock?+
Yes. Beyond payroll and attendance, PayrollKit includes expense tracking, income recording, purchases, supplier management, and stock with low-stock alerts.
Do I need a separate accounting tool?+
